MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier this week, media reported that the negotiations on a long-term trade deal between the United Kingdom and the European Union could be delayed until December.
"In the coming days we will demonstrate our thinking even further, with five new papers – all part of our work to drive the talks forward, and make sure we can show beyond doubt that we have made sufficient progress on withdrawal issues by October so that we can move on to discuss our future relationship," Davis said as quoted by the Independent newspaper.
Brexit negotiations between the United Kingdom and the European Union officially kicked off on June 19, and are due to be completed by the end of March 2019.
