KUBINKA (Moscow Region) (Sputnik) – The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Army-2017 International Military-Technical Forum.
"According to the document, the special exporter will export systems and means of information security in 2017-2019. The strategy of the Rostec state corporation [which includes Rosoboronexport] until 2025 envisages annual revenue growth from entering ‘smart’ product markets, including electronics and security systems," Rosoboronexport said in a statement.
According to Rosoboronexport’s Director General Alexander Mikheev, the demand for cybersecurity projects was increasing.
Rosoboronexport launched a special project called Security Systems Produced in Russia with a special cluster of Russian manufacturers having been created to implement the project. The systems ensure security of Russian state bodies as well as critical military and civil infrastructure.
The Army-2017 forum kicked off earlier on Tuesday in the Alabino Military Training Grounds, the Kubinka Airfield and the Patriot Congress and Exhibition Center in the Moscow region.
