MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin has tasked law enforcement agencies to examine the cause of recent fire in the Volgograd Region and Rostov-on-Don, the Kremlin press service said on Saturday.
Russian Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov informed Putin by phone about the process of the elimination of fire and its consequences.
"The president requested the Russian government to continue providing all the necessary assistance to those affected by fire, and the law enforcement agencies to examine in detail the cause of the incident," the press service said.
