06:00 GMT 22.09.2017 (Updated: 11:52 GMT 06.08.2022) During Zapad-2017 drills the Baltic fleet rocketeers destroyed a detachment of imaginary enemy ships. The Corvette “Soobrazitelnyy” successfully launched a missile to hit a target simulating an adversary warship. Paratroopers on combat vessels attacked the "terrorists" and defeated them.
Zapad-2017 (West-2017) military maneuvers were held from September 14 to Septebmer 20 on the territory of Russia and Belarus. The exercises involved about 12,700 servicemen, including up to 5,500 from Russia and about 7,200 from Belarus.
