WASHINGTON,(Sputnik) — President Donald Trump said Tuesday that US gun laws will be discussed at some point when asked about gun control in the wake of the deadliest shooting in modern US history, which happened in Las Vegas on Sunday night.
"We'll be talking about gun laws as things go by," Trump told reporters.
Moreover, on Monday, White House spokesperson Sarah Sanders noted it was not the time to discuss US gun control policy, immediately after the deadly mass shooting.
On Sunday evening, 59 people were killed and 527 others injured after a gunman opened fire on a music festival outside the Mandalay Bay Restort and Casino. The shooter killed himself before police entered his hotel room.
