As US intel panel announced on Wednesday that it had failed to find out whether Moscow had meddled in the US election process or not, as well as which presidential candidate Russia preferred, Trump took to his favorite social media platform — Twitter — to express his view on the issue.
In a heated address, the president claimed that the intel panel has to probe US media to understand "why so much of our news is just made up-FAKE!"

Washington has accused Moscow of interfering in the November 8 election that saw the victory of Donald Trump and launched a congressional probe into alleged interference. Russia has repeatedly denied the allegations, calling them 'absurd' and 'invented' to deflect the public's attention from actual instances of election fraud and corruption as well as other issues.
