On Wednesday, all schools in the US city of Charlottesville were put on lockdown after receiving a warning message by the FBI following a threat posted on social media, which expressed discontent with recent events in the city, the local police reported.
"Charlottesville City Schools are currently on a modified lockdown," the release read.

The social media post referenced the recent mass shooting in Las Vegas, Nevada, and noted that Charlottesville schools should be the next target, the release said.
