A video showing the rescue of a young elephant from a flooded river in Thailand has been posted on the Web. The animal was stuck in the water, spending about 24 hours in the trap. Luckily, the elephant was found by some kind people who pulled it onto the river bank using rope, as the elephant was unable to move by itself. After the rescue operation, the animal was sent to the vets. He will be released into the wild after he fully recovers from his ordeal.
