McLaren, a TV writer and BuzzFeed staffer, uploaded the photos to Twitter on Sunday.
The new adaptation of King's 1986 horror novel "It" is the sixth highest-grossing movie of 2017, so it's no surprise these photos have taken over the internet, getting more than 100,000 likes and almost 32,000 retweets.

"My sister asked me to shoot her engagement pics so I hid Pennywise the Clown in every photo. Countdown until she notices," the Twitter caption accompanying a selection of the photos reads.
With Halloween only days away, one wonders if payback is being plotted.
