In a separate operation in Hama, the Syrian troops have found and saved 19 civilians abducted by Daesh (ISIS) terrorists, local media reported Sunday. The Syrian Arab News Agency reported that people had been freed in Al-Saan in Hama’s eastern countryside, and then transported to the city of Salamiyah. The civilians were reportedly kidnapped on October 11 during a terrorist attack on a bus.
The news comes amid reports that on Saturday the Russian Aerospace Forces carried out a number of strikes on the positions of the Daesh militants near the village of Al-Muaker, which is located in the eastern part of Hama province.
