MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Rosoboronexport Deputy Director General Sergey Goreslavsky, the system is capable to perform maintenance service of nine types of weapons and military equipment of land forces, and the customer has already shown interest in expanding the capabilities of the system with the aim to carry out maintenance service of the hardware of other military service branches.
"Rosoboronexport has delivered to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela a mobile service system designed to carry out maintenance works as well as current and medium repair works of weapons and military equipment of land forces," the statement said. "These systems allow to get real-time information about the equipment condition, plan its maintenance and repair in the field, maintain electronic passport of military equipment, automatically form requests for spare parts," Goreslavsky said as quoted in the statement.
The full deployment of such mobile system takes 25 days and all its elements can be transported by rail, water or road transport without reducing its readiness to operate after the transportation.
