MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The shooting took place about 21:00 local time Monday (03:00 GMT Tuesday), the university reported that gunshots were heard on campus.
All people in the area of the incident were advised to seek shelter. The police presence on campus has been increased.
The city police have published a photo of the alleged attacker, 24-year-old Austin Boutain. The police believe that he is "armed and dangerous."
Confirmed 1 deceased at U of U. Suspect not in custody. Media stage point will be at the front of the Huntsman Center.
