Pope has admitted to snoozing while praying, adding that even saints are known to have done this. "When I go to pray sometimes I fall asleep. Saint Thérèse of Lisieux did it too," he said in reference to the 19th-century French nun, as he spoke to Father Marco Pozza for a Catholic TV2000 program "Padre nostro," which will be aired on All Saints' Day. An episode of the show had been published on YouTube the day before, on October 31.
Many internet users were delighted by Pope Francis' revelation. "Glad to know that I'm not the only one!" tweeted Nicholas Dolson. "So do I! Total transparency. God understands!" wrote Leslea Schofield. "Me too, guess God grants me a nap as I'm totally relaxed while/after praying…comfort," wrote another user under the nickname @CopperHead90.
