Apple’s Face ID recognition system, which is a feature on the new iPhone X smartphone, could not distinguish one twin from the other. The video of the experiment was published by the online publication Mashable.
At first, one of the twins registered on the Face ID, and then passed the iPhone X to the other one. It turned out that the second twin could easily unlock the device without any problem and access his twins’ private text messages and notes.
The twins alternately tried to "deceive" the Face ID to exclude the possibility of an error, but the system never managed to recognize the owner correctly.
“iPhone X not twin compatible,” one of the twins said in the video posted by Mashable.
