"The Alex Salmond Show," to air on Thursdays, will feature guests with business, political and entertainment backgrounds.
“This program will give people with something to say a platform to say it, and we intend to find out something about the personalities behind the public figures, Salmond said.
“In this show I’m going to give you the opportunity to get to know our guests just that bit better,” he added.

"For the first time in UK history a former government head will host a TV show," RT Editor-in-Chief Margarita Simonyan said on Friday.
Salmond, 62, headed the Scottish National Party (SNP) in 2004 – 2014 and served at the first minister of Scotland in 2007 – 2014. He decided to resign when over 55 percent of Scottish residents voted for remaining in the United Kingdom at the 2014 independence referendum despite Salmond’s campaign for the secession.
