The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) on Thursday published several videos relating to the one of the major conflicts of the 20th century.
The footages of US air assaults was filmed in March 1965, some 10 years after the Vietnam War broke out in 1955. The videos show napalm and phosphorus bombs being dropped on rural and wooded areas.
The city of Da Nang, which is currently hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit, is the site where the first US combat troops landed in Vietnam in 1965.
