MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, a project of Individual Partnership Action Plans (IPAP) for 2018-2019 has already been prepared and presented to the NATO leadership for approval.
"Here we discussed many things that we have previously done, starting from an agreement to have international emergency management exercise on the territory of Serbia and all the way to what Jens [Stoltenberg, the Secretary General of NATO] was saying – the project for training of Iraqi military forces. We have received request and we organized courses for 46 members of civilian and military medical services of Afghanistan," Vucic said at a joint press conference with Stoltenberg.
Stoltenberg and allies welcomed the Serbian President to NATO headquarters on Wednesday to discuss cooperation between the alliance and Serbia, as well as the security challenges facing the Western Balkans. The Secretary General thanked Serbia for its contributions and emphasized that NATO's partnership with the country can bring real benefits to its citizens and the Western Balkans.
