Light Festival in Ulsan: Watch South Korean City Shine Bright Like a Diamond!
06:00 GMT 16.11.2017 (Updated: 19:32 GMT 19.10.2022) Ulsan, a city located some 414 kilometers southeast of Seoul, has been considered a giant industrial complex dotted with big shipyards and automobile and petrochemical plants. But now it is slowly becoming more popular among tourists, thanks to its rich history and bright festivals.
Millions of lights were ignited in Ulsan as the Light Festival kicked off for the second time in Ulsan Grand Park, which is the biggest park in the city. Visitors of the festival, which runs through January 21, can enjoy various colorful light and multimedia 4D-shows.
In May, Ulsan hosts the Rose Festival, the largest annual event of its kind, as well as the Whale Culture Festival.
