New Delhi (Sputnik) — The three-day conclave of entrepreneurs in India's southern city of Hyderabad is already oversubscribed with people queuing up outside the registration to secure admission to the event. The crowd puller is none other than Ivanka Trump, the first daughter of US President Donald Trump.
"Definitely, the response is much, much more than the 400 limit. India has become a very important startup destination. Also, when she (Ivanka) speaks as the head of the US delegation, in a way she will be communicating what is the official position of the US government about entrepreneurship, about startups," Jayesh Ranjan, a government official who is part of the organizing team, told the local media in Hyderabad.
For Ivanka, who is a senior advisor to the US president, this is the first time she will be leading a business delegation to support women's entrepreneurship globally.
