MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Miami International Airport has been declared safe after some areas were briefly evacuated over a suspicious item, the local police said.
"The bomb squad has determined that the suspicious item found @iflymia does not pose a threat and the all clear has been issued at this time," the police said Saturday on Twitter.
The airport confirmed the all clear on its Twitter account.

According to WSVN 7News broadcaster, the item in question was found in a bathroom and turned out to be a fake explosive.
