MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold an annual news conference on December 14, the Kremlin press service said Tuesday.
"The Presidential Press and Information Office's Department of Accreditation and Briefings is starting accreditation for participation in the press conference of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The press conference will take place on December 14, 2017," the statement said.

Later, the Kremlin press service will publish a list of all journalists who received accreditation. Putin will definitely be answering the questions within a few hours, as usually more than 1,000 journalists take part in it. For example, last year the event lasted four hours.

The press conference will be broadcasted by all the leading Russian channels. Last year, on the OTR channel, it was available for people with disabilities — a live broadcast of a press conference was accompanied by sign language.
Typically, the President's large annual press conference attracts an audience of millions.
