Philip Hammond, British Chancellor of the Exchequer, went on to deliver the budget which Prime Minister Theresa May expects to make the country “fit for the future.”
The chancellor is expected to announce that Britain should “seize the opportunities” presented by Brexit and stated that the country will become an "outward looking, free-trading nation" when it finally parts ways with the EU in 2019, according to British media.

Theresa May also apparently moved to negate mounting speculation concerning tension in the government, tweeting a photo from the Cabinet meeting this morning.

Earlier Chancellor Hammond triggered outcry among politicians and the public alike for claiming there "there are no unemployed people” in Britain during a BBC interview.
