The concept of a smartphone that could be potentially released by Elon Musk's Tesla company appeared on YouTube channel Concept Creator, causing vivid reactions among Internet users.
The model is equipped with dual cameras, a bezel-less display and a metal frame and has been described as "awesome," "cool looking" and having a "perfect design."
Some netizens noted that many iPhone fans might change sides if Tesla would actually create such a gadget and put it up for sale.
Earlier this month, the company launched its first accessory for smartphones, a power bank that can charge Android or iPhone devices on the go. However, the corporation has not announced any plans to develop smartphones under its brand.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk is well-known for his ambitious projects. Earlier this week, it was announced that the company plans to install a 100-megawatt battery in South Australia, which is supposed to provide security to the state's electricity grid and is capable of storing enough energy to power 30,000 homes for about an hour.
A few days earlier, Musk unveiled a brand-new electric vehicle, a Roadster that in his words would be "the fastest production car ever made."
The vehicle is capable of going from 0-60 mph in 1.9 seconds and its main goal "to give a hardcore smackdown to gasoline cars," Musk said.
