Our eyes can sometimes deceive us, and here is more proof of that. An odd picture of three dogs, which is making its viral rounds on social networks right now, has already confused many users.

At first glance, it seems that one of the dogs has a terribly deformed head. But after a double take, it becomes clear that the dog actually has its head tilted back and off to the side while chilling on a couch.
Dozens of Redditors noted that the optical illusion was stomach-churning and it took some time to work it out.
"I got scared for a second here…" wrote user @Cju. "This freaked me out," @Pntszdvln agreed. "I thought he was just horribly deformed for a minute," noted @jonbrant. "The longer I look at it, the more uncomfortable I get," another user admitted.
Several people felt sorry for the "poor doggie."
"I just spent two minutes spinning my phone around trying to see this dog after already coming to terms about how great the owners are for adopting this poor dog, while taking solace in the fact that he doesn't know he's different, only to find out he's ok after all. What a roller coaster!" one user wrote.
"I felt so bad for the dog, I thought it was blind," @elbbluefire claimed. "My first thought was ‘how the hell is that thing still alive?!'" another person commented. "I had this inner battle about how cruel it was to not euthanize the thing," said @invictusa. "Well that was quite the rollercoaster of emotions," @LonesomeCaesar concluded.
