As many people took to social media to post their congratulations after Kensington Palace announced on November 26, the UK's Prince Harry was to marry his actress girlfriend Meghan Markle, others immediately went online to try and discover if the star had any filthy skeletons in her cupboard.
Online porn behemoth Pornhub revealed that searches on the website soared by 2270 percent in the wake of the news of the upcoming wedding.

Surprisingly, however, the most feverish to discover films lurking from the past were not the British — but users in the US, Markle's home country. There was also increased activity in Spain, Germany and Belgium.
Interestingly, it was not the younger generation who possibly followed her career in the highly-popular television legal drama Suits. Pornhub revealed that visitors aged 18-24 were proportionately —65% less likely to search for Meghan, while those over the age of 65 were +249% more likely.
"While most royal Pornhub searches are contained to parody characters like Princess Peach and Princess Leia, the engagement announcement caused a massive search increase for the soon to be real-life princess," the site said.
Members of the British royal family have been romantically linked with the acting profession in the past. The Prince of Wales famously dated British actress Susan George who appeared naked in a number of movies, while Prince Andrew was smitten by another American actress Koo Stark again who was filmed without her clothes on.
