An Australian man was lucky to be alive after his Mitsubishi hit a kangaroo, which burst through his windscreen with so much force that the animal destroyed the passenger seat. Local police reported about the unfortunate crash, which happened on Thursday in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, sharing a dramatic photo of the smashed windscreen on its Facebook page.
Unfortunately, the accident was fatal for the' roo — it collapsed and died in the back of the vehicle. According to inspectors, the incident would have been more tragic if there were other people in the car, as the animal struck it with incredible force, breaking off the passenger seat.
One NSW Police Traffic and Highway Patrol Command Facebook post attracted a lot of attention from netizens, with some locals claiming that was a "notorious road" for kangaroos.
