16:20 GMT 05.12.2017 (Updated: 11:56 GMT 06.08.2022) While the Syrian Army and its allies move to deliver a killing blow to Daesh (ISIL/ISIS), the Pentagon rushed to take the credit for the destruction of the terrorist organization.
Pentagon spokesperson Eric Pahon declared that Syrian government troops aided by Russian Aerospace Forces provided only a small contribution to the fight against Daesh, while the bulk of the fighting against the nefarious terrorist group was conducted by the US-led coalition.
