On December 14, a suicide bomber disguised as a policeman blew himself up inside a police training camp (General Kahiye Police Training Academy) in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu during a police parade.
“So far 15 have died and 17 others were injured,” Reuters reported, citing a police officer.

Earlier, it was reported that 13 were killed and 15 had been injured.
The militant Islamist group Al-Shabaab operates in war-torn Somalia, and has strong ties to al-Qaeda. Al-Shabaab carries out frequent bombings against the Somalia central government and has complicated the UN's humanitarian activities in Mogadishu and other towns.
