Bangladeshi Minister Obaidul Qader claims his government has credible intelligence sources that show a “conspiracy” by Pakistan's spy agency ISI "with the terror groups among the Rohingyas.”

New Delhi (Sputnik) — With around six hundred thousand Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar presently taking shelter in Bangladesh and their number increasing by the day, Bangladesh has alleged Pakistan of using "terror elements" among the Rohingyas to unleash turmoil in Bangladesh.

New Challenge on the Horizon: Nexus of Daesh-Rohingya-Bangladeshi Terror Outfit
Bangladesh's Transport Minister Obaidul Quader during his visit to India on Wednesday said Pakistan "cannot tolerate anything good happening in our country. They are also hatching a conspiracy with the Rohingya terror elements."

Bangladeshi experts say that there is evidence that supports Quader's claims.

"The Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA) leadership comprises mostly of the Rohingya Diaspora and our security agencies have proof that the person now heading it is a native of Pakistan and his parents were once based in Pakistan," Major Gen (Retd) Abdur Rashid, Bangladesh-based security expert who is director at the Institute of Conflict, Law & Development Studies (ICLDS), Dhaka told Sputnik.

Conversations intercepted between the Bangladesh based insurgent groups and their Pakistani handlers also corroborate the suspicion. Pakistan should try and avoid playing with the lives of the refugees and people who are struggling for existence, he added.
