71-year-old Hollywood actor Sylvester Stallone has rejected accusations that he sexually assaulted a woman in the 1990s.
Stallone's attorney Marty Singer said that the actor "categorically disputes the claim" and calls the sexual assault allegations "completely fabricated."
The complaint against Stallone was reportedly made in the California beach city of Santa Monica last month.
Local police promised to investigate the allegations despite the fact that they are out of line with California's 10-year statute of limitations for sexual assault.

"There would be no reason to file such a report, since she knew that it was too old a claim. However, she wanted a story published. Notwithstanding that, she filed a police report, (and) the media outlet refused to publish the story," Singer said.
In a separate development in mid-November, Stallone was accused of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old girl more than 30 years ago.

The woman, whose name was not disclosed, told police that in 1986 Stallone allegedly invited her to his hotel room in Las Vegas and forced her to have sex with him and his bodyguard.
Stallone's spokeswoman dismissed the allegations as "a ridiculous, categorically false story."
