World's Longest Glass Bridge - Sputnik International

The world's longest glass bridge, located in the Hongyagu Scenic Area in Hebei province of China, finally became open to the public.

The massive construction spans 488 meters and is suspended 218 meters above the ground. Even though the bridge can endure the weight of up to 3,000 people, only 600 are allowed to be on it at the same time, and one must climb some 2,000 steps in order to set foot upon this marvel of modern engineering.
