Over 100 policemen will take a two-month course in English starting March 1, 2018, according to the Volganews agency. The will go to classes two times a week.

The National Guard of Russia is also planning to teach its units English prior to the championship.
"We are going to send our staff to one of the city's universities for short courses in the English language," said Alexander Esaulenk, head of the National Guard’s Office in the Samara Region, adding that the guards will be given dictionaries with basic terms in English to ease communication with football fans coming from all over the world.
Samara will host six matches of the championship, which will be held from June 14 to July 15, 2018, in eleven Russian cities.
