Earlier, the Russian Embassy in Afghanistan told Sputnik that there is no information about Russians injured in the attack.
"According to the preliminary information at least 10 people were killed and 50 more injured… No information about Russian citizens injured in the explosion was provided," a spokesman for the embassy said.
Earlier in the day, a massive explosion hit the Afghan capital after a bomb-laden car detonated near the old building of country's Interior Ministry.
The emergency vehicles reportedly rushed to the scene.
