Reddit users in the "r/Whatcouldgowrong" subreddit were left scratching their heads after one particular video claiming to utilize "a firecracker" ended in a blast of unexpected proportions.
While most viewers expected the trunk to be blown off or the car to catch fire, the "firecracker" used turned out to be, as one Redditer put it, "the bomb kind" and blew the entire rear end off the vehicle off, catapulting the VW's trunk door out of the frame.
Don't try this at home — or anywhere else for that matter.
