Despite the Met Office having issued a yellow warning for 50mph winds and heavy rains across the UK for the weekend, Blackpool’s raucous revelers seemed undeterred.

Booze-filled festival-goers headed to the seaside resort, Blackpool, for electronic dance music event Pier Jam despite thunderstorms hitting the UK over the last couple of days after sweltering heat nearly melted Britain.

Instagram has been inundated with pictures of girls, who got dolled up for the sold out event, wearing tiny skirts and shorts and fishnet stockings in addition to having their faces painted with glitter – a very popular festival trend.
