The second day of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly, headed by Ecuador’s Maria Fernanda Espinosa Garces is marked with United Kingdom's Prime Minister Theresa May delivering a speech during the evening session.

Each day of the General Assembly general debate continues in two parts. The morning session starts at 9 am (13:00 GMT) and runs until 2.45 pm (18:45 GMT). The afternoon sessions start at 3 pm (19:00 GMT) and run until 9 pm (01:00 GMT).

The morning session's speakers are Panama, Namibia, Ghana, Estonia, Lebanon, Croatia, Yemen, Uruguay, Colombia, Tonga, Mali, Angola, Cuba, Liberia, Slovakia, Republic of Korea, Romania, the UK, Afghanistan and Italy.

Cabo Verde, Ukraine, Eswatini, Honduras, Kenya, Kiribati, Zimbabwe, Poland, Portugal, El Salvador, Nauru, Bolivia, Palau, Venezuela, Central African Republic, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Norway, Netherlands are participating in the evening session of the assembly.
