Janis Palkavnieks, the spokesman for the social network Draugiem.lv, said that experts have managed to bring the platfrom back into operation, which was subject to a cyber attack amid parliamentary election in the country.
"The network's operation has been completely restored. No leakage of personal information occurred during the cyberattack," Palkavnieks said.
Earlier, the representative of the Draugiem Group said that the operation of the portal was "suspended for several hours in order to remedy the consequences" of the cyber attack.

Latvians are currently electing 100 lawmakers to the country's parliament. At midday, the voter turnout amounted to 22 percent.
At the time of the election, the Latvian State Police detained five individuals due to violent conduct at polling stations, State Police representative Simona Gravite said.
"The police have registered separate cases, in which conflict situations emerged. There have been a total of five cases. In four cases, administrative proceedings have been launched," Gravite told reporters.
According to the State Police representative, the law enforcement officers have received 24 reports of violations of canvassing rules, with several reports have not been confirmed.
The poll stations across Latvia are set to close at 8:00 p.m. local time (17:00 GMT).
