Facebook appears to be suffering outages on the East Coast of the US and the southeast coast of Brazil, according to the DownDetector. The users are getting a message "Sorry, something went wrong" when trying to access the social network. WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger are also reported to be down.
The outage prompted various jokes among Twitter users, claiming to log into the social network only because of the outage.
