WATCH: UK PM Theresa May Gets Stuck in Car Before Meeting With Chancellor Merkel
15:51 GMT 11.12.2018 (Updated: 12:19 GMT 09.02.2023) Upon the British prime minister's arrival, the door of Theresa May's car was still locked and a member of staff made a series of unsuccessful attempts to open it to allow her out. Eventually, the door was unlocked and PM May was able to exit the vehicle.
UK Prime Minister Theresa May was embarrassingly left stuck in her vehicle when she arrived in Berlin for a meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Tuesday.
Aside from meeting Merkel, the British prime minister will hold talks with a number of high-level EU officials in other European cities to discuss her controversial Brexit deal, following the announced postponement of the House of Commons' vote on the unpopular draft withdrawal agreement.
