The parachute jump was dedicated to O'Shea's late daughter, who had died from Motor Neuron Disease (MND). The brave centenarian decided to take the plunge from 14,000 feet (over 4,200 metres) in order to support the MND Association of South Australia and to raise awareness and funds for the matter.
