09:52 GMT 13.12.2018 (Updated: 10:08 GMT 13.12.2018) A high-speed train crash occurred in Ankara on Thursday morning. Following the collision, train traffic from the Turkish capital was suspended, a representative from Turkish State Railways told Sputnik.
The drone footage shows the aftermath of the horrible train wreck in Ankara, which claimed the lives of 7 and injured at least 46 others.
According to authorities, the incident was caused by a shunting locomotive that was not supposed to have been on the rail track at the time. Officials also stated that an investigation into the incident is underway.
