A number of foreign delegations will attend the ceremony, which will see the transfer of control of the second most powerful country in the Western Hemisphere to its first right-wing leader since the military dictatorship that ended there three decades ago.
Russia will be represented by Vyacheslav Volodin, chairman of the lower house of the Russian federal legislature, while the United States will be represented at the inauguration by Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
