Three people were injured in the incident, including a member of the British Transport Police. The suspect was detained; counter-terrorism police have launched an investigation into the attack.
A video has emerged on YouTube that allegedly shows police arresting the suspect thought to be behind the attack at a Manchester railway station on Monday night. The man can be heard yelling "Allahu Akbar" ("God is greatest" or "God is great"), a slogan widely associated with Islamic terrorists, while the officers are loading him into the van.
