The US president's former personal lawyer Michael Cohen has filed a lawsuit against the Trump's Organisation LLC in New York State Court in Manhattan stating that it failed to cover all legal expenses when Cohen was recruited by the company, court records stated.
According to the filed complaint, the Trump Organisation refused to pay him compensations once it became obvious that Cohen would assist Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe into its work.

This comes after last week Trump's former personal attorney Michael Cohen in congressional testimony accused the president of committing crimes including campaign finance violations and potential tax fraud.
Ex-Trump aide Cohen was recently sentenced to three years in prison for financial crimes that include tax fraud and hush-money payments to two women Trump allegedly had affairs with in violation of campaign finance laws, as well as lying to the Congress.
