The members of the House of Commons discuss the Brexit plan and hold a vote on Prime Minister Theresa May's Brexit withdrawal deal after they rejected all eight alternative Brexit amendments earlier this week.

The European Council has granted the United Kingdom a Brexit deadline extension until 22 May if the House of Commons passes the withdrawal deal by 29 March and until 12 April if it doesn't.

May's Brexit deal has already been rejected twice by lawmakers.

During the first vote in January, 230 MPs supported the bill, while during the second in March — only 149.

Following the latest vote, John Bercow, UK House of Commons speaker ruled that the government could not bring the same deal to the Parliament. Later, however, he confirmed that the MPs could vote on Brexit withdrawal agreement, but not the accompanying political declaration.
