Most of the gifts to the president he cannot accept, according to the protocol that all the official presents should be made property of the state. Each of the gifts that are sent to Russia's head of state by citizens and other well-wishers must pass through the Federal Guard Service. However, according to Peskov, the Russian leader keeps only special gifts to himself.
