British Airways Flight Declares Mid-Air Emergency On Its Way to Heathrow
12:18 GMT 19.04.2019 (Updated: 12:46 GMT 19.04.2019) According to Airlive, citing the Radarbox24 flight tracker, the BA102 flight, which was heading from Calgary to London, declared an emergency situation. The Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner was scheduled to land at Heathrow at 1:35 PM GMT.
The emergency was declared after one of the passengers fell ill an hour away from London, the Daily Mail reported. According to the newspaper, a British Airways spokesperson later confirmed that it was a minor incident.
