A small aircraft flying to the German city of Hannover crashed in the North Sea on Monday, local media reported.
According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred due to difficult weather conditions.

The incident comes after early last month, German media reported that over the past decade, at least 13 people have died in plane crashes near the airport of Egelsbach in central Germany. These reports came as a day before, the Bild newspaper reported that a light six-seat plane crashed in a field and burst into flames on Sunday afternoon near Egelsbach, a German town in the state of Hesse. It said the pilot and two people on board were killed in the crash.
