Shiba Inu dogs are treasured throughout Japan. They're thought to be among the first canines tamed by man, but even in 2019 some have a mind of their own, and taking this dog, Makanatu, out on a leash turned out to be far from a walk in the park.
Japanese breeds aren't known to have an easygoing temperament. The owner of Maconatu certainly didn't have an easy time getting the Shiba Inu dog to budge.
One neighbour even quipped that he looked like a plough.
