The 10 candidates certified by the Democratic National Committee to participate in the event, hosted by ABC News in partnership with Univision, will appear on the stage in the following order, from left to right: Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar, New Jersey Senator Cory Booker, South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, Former US Vice President Joe Biden, Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren, California Senator Kamala Harris, Entrepreneur Andrew Yang, Former Texas Representative Beto O'Rourke and Former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julian Castro.
Unlike the format of the prior debates, this one will give candidates one minute and 15 seconds for direct answers to questions and 45 seconds for responses and rebuttals. Candidates will have the opportunity to deliver opening statements, but there will be no closing statements.
The debate is being held at Texas Southern University in Houston on Thursday night at 8 p.m. EDT and is reportedly slated to run for three hours.
